Our Lady Undoer of Knots

Legion of Mary, Our Lady Undoer of Knots Praesidium, is now meeting from 6:15-7:45pm on Thursdays at Corpus Christi Catholic Academy in Rm. 318 (Athanasius Room) immediately following 5:30pm Mass.  Join the Legionnaires who serve beneath  the standard of Mary: praying the rosary, evangelizing in the community, encouraging traditional devotions, etc.

Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising,
fair as the moon, bright as the Sun,
terrible as an army set in battle array?
O Mary conceived without  sin,
pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Come Join Us!

We are the only Legion of Mary chapter in the Colorado Springs area. Our members come from all walks of life. We are an eclectic group of characters devoted to our Holy Mother and the salvation of souls. We are committed to fighting back against the encroaching secularization of society through the glory of God. We meet every Thursday inside Corpus Christi Catholic School (room 318) from 6:15 to 7:45 following the 5:30 mass at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish.

About the Legion of Mary

The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work. The unit of the Legion of Mary is called a praesidium, which holds a weekly meeting, where prayer is intermingled with reports and discussion. Persons who wish to join the Legion must apply for membership in a Praesidium. The Legion sees as its priority the spiritual and social welfare of each individual. The members participate in the life of the parish through visitation of families, the sick, both in their homes and in hospitals and through collaboration in every apostolic and missionary undertaking sponsored by the parish. Every legionary is required to carry out a weekly apostolic work in the spirit of faith and in union with Mary.

Why we need the legion of mary

Watch this video to learn more about the importance of the Legion of Mary. In a world that is increasingly hostile towards Catholicism and the true word of God, we need Mary in our lives more than ever. It is only through the devotion to Mary and absolute faith in Christ that we can achieve salvation.
